The Department of Higher Education and Training is hiring for a General Worker/Assistant.

DUTIES:

The premises and surroundings need to be kept clean at all times. This includes the garden area where you should Water the plants, regularly trim and prune the flowers and trees, and mow the grass. Weeds and other debris should be removed immediately. Gardening equipment should be properly maintained to avoid defects or malfunctions. If there are any minor repairs needed, see to it that they are fixed right away.

REQUIREMENTS:

ABET/Standard 8/Gr 10. Recommendations:

  • Ability to interact professionally with other officials
  • Knowledgeable in health and hygiene processes
  • Knowledge of storage requirements as well as facilities
  • Knowledge of gardening and operating equipment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
