The Government Pensions Administration Agency (GPAA) is responsible for administering the pension affairs of approximately 1.7 million government employees and their spouses, dependents, and pensioners. It reports to the Minister of Finance and administers the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF), the largest pension fund in Africa.

Requirements:  Applications must be submitted on the new form Z83, signed and scanned. The relevant reference number must be quoted on all documentation and in the subject heading of the email.

Your application must include the following: a detailed CV that outlines all relevant experience and duties, including the dates (MM/YY) of each position and full contact information for references. Additionally, you must fill out a Z83 form completely (you can find more information on this in Circular No. 19 of 2022). If any of these requirements are not met, your application will not be considered further. Candidates who are shortlisted for the next stage of the process must be available for a virtual or in-person panel interview on a date and at a time that will be determined by the GPAA.

Please note that all shortlisted candidates will be expected to have their supporting documents certified. In addition, pre-employment checks and references will be conducted for all those who are shortlisted. These checks include, but are not limited to: security clearance, security vetting, qualification/study verification, citizenship verification, financial, previous employment verification and criminal record. Applicants who are successful in meeting the minimum requirements will be required to adhere to the Minimum Information Security Standards..

The GPAA has the right to use practical exercises/tests/competency assessments for non-SMS positions during recruitment (candidates who are shortlisted will be informed) to determine if the candidate is suitable for the post. The GPAA also has the right to cancel filling/not fill a vacancy that was advertised during any stage of recruitment.

The successful candidate will be required to sign an annual performance agreement and undergo a security clearance process.
