About ICASA
ICASA is the official regulator of the South African communications, broadcasting and postal services sectors. ICASA also works to resolve any complaints that people may have about these services.
We help to develop and implement regulation for the telecommunications and broadcasting industries, as well as issue licenses to service providers. We also monitor compliance with rules and regulations, plan and manage the radio frequency spectrum, and protect consumers against unfair business practices and poor-quality services.
At the heart of our mission is ensuring that all people in South Africa have access to basic communication services at an affordable price. As part of our license agreements, operators are required to roll out services to underserved areas, and we make sure that licensees contribute to the Universal Service and Access Fund.
If you’re looking for an exciting and challenging career, ICASA is the perfect place for you. We are always looking for talented and driven individuals to join our team and help grow the communications sector.
The broadcasting and ICT sectors offer a wealth of exciting career opportunities that go far beyond the entertainment we see on our television screens and hear on our radio stations.
ICASA offers a variety of divisions for skilled professionals with qualifications in electrical engineering, law, media and communications, human resources, finance, administration, or supply chain management and procurement. With so many options available, there is something for everyone at ICASA. So come and explore all that we have to offer today!
